In Chuiadanga, the western part of Bangladesh, IMPACT runs a small, efficient hospital. From this location, the job of organising the outreach to more than a 1000 “mothers’ clubs”: with more than 20 members in each, almost 20 000 women gets valuable information on a monthly basis. This information includes education in important themes such as correct nutrition, proper hygiene, mother/child and birth complications, as well as the issue of women’s rights.
